1957 FERRARI 315 S Scaglietti Spyder – DESIGNED BY SERGIO SCAGLIETTI

In 1957, four of the 20 Ferraris entering the Mille Miglia were factory team cars—two 315 S’s, and two 335 S’s and piloting a 315 S was Piero Taruffi. This was the 14th MM for the dashing “Silver Fox,” who was then 50 and trying to claim the victory that long eluded him.

“Taruffi chased that title with positively moving dedication,” Enzo Ferrari wrote in his memoirs. “On my recommendation he promised his wife if he won he would…give up motor racing. I decided to help him if I could and this time fate lent a helping hand…” Indeed it did. Taruffi ran in higher gears to reduce the number of shifts until he was at the halfway point in Rome. Then he attacked.

“My car flew over bumps in the road,” Taruffi wrote, “losing adhesion, and the rev counter often went into the red.” When teammate Peter Collins’ 335 S transmission failed, Taruffi took over the lead, and the Silver Fox beamed as he won the race. - Winston Goodfellow

Album: Mezzanine by Massive Attack

Massive Attack are an English electronic band formed in 1988 in Bristol, England, by Robert "3D" Del Naja, Adrian "Tricky" Thaws, Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles and Grant "Daddy G" Marshall. The band currently consists of Del Naja, Thaws and Marshall, with Shara Nelson and Horace Andy as guest vocalists.

The debut Massive Attack album Blue Lines was released in 1991, with the single "Unfinished Sympathy" reaching the charts and later being voted the 63rd greatest song of all time in a poll by NME.[2] 1998's Mezzanine, containing "Teardrop", and 2003's 100th Window charted in the UK at number one. Both Blue Lines and Mezzanine feature in Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

The group has won numerous music awards throughout their career, including a Brit Award—winning Best British Dance Act, two MTV Europe Music Awards, and two Q Awards. They have released five studio albums that have sold over 13 million copies worldwide.
